Cork's Diane Gross and Pinch & Plate's Janell Adjepong team up for classes highlighting the wine and design elements of entertaining. Working together, they'll give attendees easy, yet impactful tips to create memorable food, wine, and decor experiences at their next gathering.
All classes start at 1:00p.m. and are $75 per person. Each attendee will receive two bottles of wine, recipes from chef Eric Adjepong, and a shopping list from Cork Market to take home.
Saturday, March 23: Wine-Focused Feasting (Buy Tickets)
This class guides guests through building a dinner party highlighting the most important ingredient: wine. Diane offers advice for determining a wine selection centered on price point, varietal, region, or other themes, as well as tips for food pairing, while Janell sets the stage with tutorials on wine pouring etiquette, designing a tablescape using both everyday and heirloom servingware, and creating centerpieces that won’t break the bank.
Saturday, June 1: Instagram-Worthy Summer Soirées (Buy Tickets)
Diane and Janell tackle the challenges and considerations of outdoor entertaining - from ensuring the food and wine stay at the proper temperature and choosing floral arrangements that won’t wilt, to preparing a menu of backyard bites, the best patio wines, and setting a transportive table.
