Johnathan Allen II

Johnathan has been cooking in the D.C. area for many years, working with Jose Andres at ThinkFood Group, as a sous-chef for Neighborhood Restaurant Group's Vermillion and most recently as a sous-chef at The Source by Wolfgang Puck.  Johnathan has been cooking with since he was small, helping his mother prepare dinner for him and his sisters.  At the age of 15, he decided to make a career out of it and started working in restaurants.  Johnathan brings to Cork experience in some of D.C.'s best restaurants working with local and seasonal ingredients.  His fine dining background enhances the menu at Cork and enables him to focus on the best ingredients and pairing his creative menu with Cork's extensive list of Old World Wines.  He resides in Virginia with his two dogs Sam and Loki.
